Rita "Dean" Imogene Potter, 86, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on December 18, 1933 to parents, Emsley and Mary Pearl (Reynolds) Potter.

Dean graduated early from York Institute (High School) in Jamestown, Tennessee. She worked in the accounting/payroll department of St. Regis Paper Company, retiring after 30 years. Dean was very active, enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends and liked to spend time gardening, crocheting and doing puzzles. She was a life-member of Eagels Aerie #528 Ladies Auxilliary.

Mrs. Potter is survived by her son, Tony (Brenda) Potter; daughters, Brenda (Dave) Thomas & Jenny (Larry) Arstingstall; granddaughter, Hannah Arstingstall; great grandson, Garren Brewer; great great granddaughter, Charlee McIntosh; brother, Arthur (Jean) Potter; brother-in-law, Phil Pence; as well as many other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Patrick Potter; grandson, Jason Patrick Brewer; parents; and sisters, JoAnn Pence & Helen Leffew.

Funeral Service will be Friday, December 4, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.) Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
