The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4-8 p.m.

Clyde was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was married to his wife, Jo Beth, for sixty years. He served our country in the United States Air Force for four years. Clyde worked hard to take care of his family by working for Citgo Petroleum, formerly known as Cities Services Corporation, for forty-three years until his well-deserved retirement in 1997.

He enjoyed raising cattle, working on the farm and spending time with his family and his dog, Josie. Clyde’s grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a man of strong faith and was very proud of his Baptist heritage. He was a kind-spirited and giving person. Clyde will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Clyde’s memory include his wife, Jo Beth Miller Taylor of Reeves; one son, Todd Miller Taylor and wife, Lisa, of Reeves; one daughter, Kelly Jo Tarbell and husband, Ralph, of Lake Charles; one sister, Martha Nell Wood and husband, Billy, of Haughton; two grandchildren, Luke Taylor and wife, Taylor Jo, and Jessica Grantham and husband, Cody; and six great grandchildren.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Daisy Taylor; two brothers, Eugene and Roy Taylor; and two sisters, Virginia Mayes and Betty Sue Miley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Pearl Ministries or Dry Creek Baptist Encampment.
