David Hodges, 66, of Inola, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, November 26th, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. David was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on November 24th, 1954 the son of Clarence and Letha Hodges. When David was younger, he lived in several different states including Texas, Missouri and California. His final settling was in Oklahoma. David become a father at a young age and continued his life and careers as a welder and truck driver. David’s hobbies included; deep water scuba diving, hunting, fishing and skating with his girls. Later in his life he married Lu Anna and enjoyed camping, fishing, working on cars and trucks with his wife and boys. If you told David that something was broken, it didn’t matter what it was, he would put on his Cowboy hat or cap and come fix it no matter what time or day. His favorite truck was his blue 65 Ford step-side and his favorite car was his maroon 78 Chevy Camaro. David loved to teach everyone in his family to drive including his sisters; Pam and Rhonda. In his latter years of life David loved spending time outside. He enjoyed animals; especially his cats and dogs.

David is survived by his wife, LuAnna Ruth Hodges of Inola, three daughters; Shelly Campbell and husband Brad of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Kimberly Hedrick and husband Sean of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Karen Hodges of OKC, Oklahoma. Two sons; Jeff Patterson of Inola, Oklahoma and Dylan Ray Hodges of Inola, Oklahoma. Nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, mother, Letha Berniece Hodges of Muskogee, Oklahoma, two sisters; Rhonda Weeks of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Pam Wilson and husband, Danny, of Inola, Oklahoma, brother, Carl Hodges of Coco Beach, Florida, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward Hodges, grandparents; Garland and Lena Cheek and Laurence and Gladys Hodges, great granddaughter, Bella Sullivan and nephew, Kevin Trussell.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 4th, 2020 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Clergy, Max Breshears officiating. Inurnment will follow in Highland Cemetery, at Okemah, Oklahoma under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
