Cynthia Serena Elliott, 62, of Brevard passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Elizabeth House following a long battle with cancer. A native of Florida, she had resided in Western North Carolina since 1982. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Grace Serena. She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Croft and brothers, Wayne and Rick Serena.
Cynthia was a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College and had worked the past 25 years at Western Carolina Community Action as a Senior Housing Specialist. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling to Gatlinburg, TN and Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC. Cynthia loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter and family in general. She so enjoyed her beloved dog, Jasper and bird, Casey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, M. Eric Elliott; children, Tina (Junior), Amanda (Avery), Denise (Victor), Brandon (Nazare), Mindy (Jordan) and Eric (Catherine); grandchildren, Elyza, Evan, Elyssa, Justin, Montana, Eva, Blaiden, Ivan, Scarlet, Javin, McKenzie, Madison and Mason; great-granddaughter, Ariella; brother, Warren and numerous nieces and nephews.
