She was employed by Huntsville Hospital, was a faithful Christian, and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served alongside her husband, Donnie, who was the Pastor. Anita loved to cook and her cooking was loved by many. She had a wonderful southern accent that was unforgettable and was always friendly and never met a stranger. She was a shining example of what a Christian woman should be.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard & Eva Nell Thrasher; Her sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Don Quarles.
She is survived by her son and was survived by her husband, Donald Ray "Donnie" Stone who later passed away on November 25, 2020.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service and will be in Chaney's Chapel Cemetery in Dutton, Alabama.
