Mrs. Wilson was born in Christian County, KY, on April 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Norris Goodwin and Irene Daugherty Goode, Sr. She was a dietician at Pembroke School. She was also a homemaker and worked on the farm. Wilma was a member at New Barren Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, J.E. Wilson in 1995; her brother, Goodwin Goode.
Survivors include her son, Jim Wilson of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Judy Cansler and her husband, David of Cerulean, KY; four grandchildren, Jill Colley and her husband, Ronald of Hopkinsville, Robyn Ford of Bowling Green, Ashley Atnip and her husband, Matt of Simpsonville, SC, and Jacob Cansler of Miami, FL; 10 great grandchildren, Clay Colley, Lilly Colley, Caroline Ford, Annabelle Ford, Charlotte Ford, Alana Atnip, Mattie Atnip, Amara Atnip, Grant Cansler and Kate Cansler.
