Anna was a daughter of David Byer/Boyer (1791-1844) and Anna Byer/Boyer, née Doner (1798-1865).

Anna married John Lemon "Lemon" Conner (1825-1871) on October 12, 1851, in Algoma District, Ontario. The couple lived in Markham Township, York Region, Ontario, where they had 10 children.

On October 6, 1874, Anna married Peter Geiger, whose first wife, Mary Ann Wilson, died in November 1873.

Anna died of apoplexy (disability following a stroke) a few days after her 70th birthday.

The gravestone has been removed; only a base remains. A cemetery record was used to locate the burial spot. The grave is beside that of Peter Geiger, Anna's second husband.
