Billie Joyce (Borden) Martin, 81, of Elizabeth, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, November 23, 2020 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Billie was born March 1, 1939 to Grover Corbie Borden and Bernestine (Snelgroes) Borden in Elizabeth, Arkansas.

Billie spent her working years as a farmer and worked at other various jobs as well. Billie loved family gatherings, enjoyed ceramics and was very artistic. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Trina Martin Smith of Mountain Home, Arkansas; step son, Gary Lee Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Smith (Valerie) of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Kristina Smith Bryant (Richard) of Galena, Missouri; six great grandchildren, Wyatt Hickman, Lincoln Hickman, Rhett Hickman, Kaley Smith, Kenley Smith, and Emmerson Bryant; two sisters, Sharon Guffey (JW) of Viola, Arkansas and Linda Hunt of Bexar, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. Billie is preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas with Cotton Robbins officiating. Pallbearers are Nathaniel Smith, Justin Hunt, Richard Bryant, Bryan Guffey, Anthony Hunt, and Gary Martin. Memorials may be made to the Elizabeth Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
