David was born in Fremont, MI on May 12, 1949 to Olin and Josephine Seymour. David attended Central Michigan University and also Muskegon Community College. Dave was employed as a loan office manager for 10 years at Muskegon Co-Op Credit Union and operated Chase Hammond Golf Course for 14 years where he cultivated many long lasting friendships. Dave was an avid golfer and supporter of the game he loved. He was awarded the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association, 1996 Outstanding Service Award and was the founder of the Duke Domke Scholarship Award for Muskegon Community College Golf Program from which many students benefitted.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Laura: children, Stephanie (David) Peterson, Gregory (Lori) Law: Grandchildren - Griffin, Gavin, Paige and Maya and many family members and friends who loved him.
He is preceded in death by parents, Olin and Josephine: brothers Lynn and James.
