Karen Kay Sharp, 54 of Carlsbad, Texas went to her heavenly home on November 24, 2020, surrounded by her family and friends.

Karen was born on August 24, 1966 in Rotan, Texas to the late J.D. and Jessie Sharp.

She grew up in Rotan and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rotan.

She graduated from Rotan High School in 1986.

Karen dearly loved spending time with her family, both immediate and extended family.

She loved music, choir and had a deep passion for Christ. She was a devoted Christian and spent most of her time as a disciple for Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Jessie Sharp; a sister, Judy (Sharp) White and brother-in-law, David F. White; grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Karen is survived by 3 sisters, Joyce (Sharp) Hale and husband Ross Hale; Ginger (Sharp) Neal and husband John Neal & Terre (Sharp) Kamer and husband Richard Kamer; 2 brothers Charles and Larry Sharp; Nephews, Brian and Jeremy Hale, Roger Miller Jr., Seth and Tanner Kamer; nieces, Elisha Rivers, Amber Cave, Ashley Marley, and Skyler Kamer; and loving great nieces and nephews.

Karen is also survived by her extended family at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center whom she loved dearly, Tammy Hunt, Christina Gomez, Becky Ellis, Azalea Simons, Lisa Komaniecki, staff and team members.

Private services will be held at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial in Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan.
