John Bonwell, was accidently killed near Garnett, Anderson county, Kansas, July 15, 1883, at the age of 21.
He was a brakeman and accidently fell under a car owned by the Kansas City, Lawrence & Southern railroad train. Mr. Bonwell's step-mother lives in Elk county, a few miles from New Albany.
