She married Harold Rogers and together they had three children. Lucille was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served as church treasure as well as sang in the choir for many years.
Lucille was employed at Edinboro Manor and became a private care giver, working well into her 70's. Caring for other brought her great joy.
She loved to crochet and knit and created baby afghans for her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She loved flowers and grew gorgeous mums well into her 80's. She loved music and played the organ and loved to sing hymns each night before falling asleep.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mildred Clark Bennett; an infant sister, Laura Lee Bennett; a son, James Rogers; a son in law, Jerry Munn; a brother, Leo David Bennett and his wife Alice; a sister, Wilma Jones and her husband Clive; and a brother in law, Walter "Lynn" Mays.
She is survived by a daughter, Christina Munn of Corry; a son, Larry Rogers and his wife Ellen of Union City; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic services will be private.
Private burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Union City.
