Mr. Bruce passed into eternal life on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Dean (Gunter) Bruce; father, Jessie Eugene Bruce; mother, Ellen (McMullen) Bruce; brother, Louis Bruce; and 4 sisters, Alberta Edwards, Alice McGaha, Virginia Hill, and Polly Costello.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Joe Parker of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, James Ellis "Jim" Bruce, Jr. and Romy Bruce of Prattville, Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, David Craig Bruce and Tiffany Bruce of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Darren Greg Bruce and Callie Bruce of Oak Grove, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren; sister, Grace Leihr of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and special friend, Ethel Prine of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Pallbearers are: Logan Bruce, David Bruce, Jim Bruce, Ethan Bruce, Cameron Morris, and Kaleb Blondin.
