Roger attended Three Way schools. He was a heavy equipment operator for Savage Industries at the Tolk plant for 30 years. He retired in 2016. Roger was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Roger is survived by his wife, Shirley; his son, Rodney Reynolds of Muleshoe, Texas; his two sisters, Bonnie Drusendahl of Muleshoe, Texas and Nelda Crawford of Earth, Texas; his three brothers, Eddie Reynolds of Ft. Worth, Texas, Raymond Reynolds of Abernathy, Texas and Jim Reynolds of Lubbock, Texas; and his two grandchildren, Reagan Reynolds of Lubbock, Texas and Reese Reynolds of Muleshoe, Texas.
