Robinson, Wanda M.: 92, retired AT&T industrial nurse, died Nov. 29. Services 10 a.m. Friday, Bethany First Assembly of God (Bill Merritt, Bethany).

Wanda Mae Robinson passed away November 29, 2020 at her home at the age of 92. She was born on February 14, 1928(which was her Dad’s birthday) in Camargo, OK to Sam and Emma Robinson. Wanda attended all 12 years of schooling at Camargo, graduating as valedictorian of her class. She attended OU’s School of Nursing, graduating in 1955. She worked in Ohio and then in several hospitals in Oklahoma City eventually retiring as an industrial nurse from AT&T. Wanda loved flowers, roses being her favorite. She loved gardening and was very adept in all types of needle work. A vacation to her was camping out in the mountains or by a lake. She enjoyed several of these trips with her friend, Lou, her mom and sister, Joan. She was active in church, as long as her health permitted. She had been a Sunday school teacher, a Bible School director, church pianist and did home Bible Studies in her earlier years. She was currently a member of the Bethany First Assembly of God. The last 4-5 years, she belonged to the Sister’s Club, which included Wanda and Joan, Faye and Norma and Naomi and Dorothy, the sisters club consisted two sisters living together and taking care of each other, celebrating birthdays, coffee, tea, gossip and laughter which was enjoyed by all. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Robinson, sister, Jacqueline Foulk, nephew, Dale L. Chain, Jr. great niece, Christina Zachgo and 2 brothers-in-law, Dale Chain, Sr. and Lester Foulk. She is survived by her sister, Joan Chain, nieces, Jacqueline Zachgo and husband, LeRoy, Peggy Parrish and husband, R.J. and Sara Chain as well as several great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Family suggests that donations be made in Wanda’s name to Bethany First Assembly of God.

Funeral Service: December 4, 2020, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Bethany First Assembly of God Church, 4701 N. Rockwell Ave, Oklahoma City, Ok.
