Debra was the youngest of 7 children born George and Ollie (Ritter) Arnold. She attended Henderson schools until her teenage years, when she moved to Longview and graduated from Pine Tree High School. She attended St. Mary’s and St Matthew Catholic churches with her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ollie Arnold; sisters Ouida Hacker and Patsy Sadler; brothers Clifford “Bud” Arnold and (infant) Charles Lynn Arnold. Survivors include brothers, Billy Wayne Arnold and wife Patricia; and Kenneth Dale Arnold and wife Deby; sister-in-law Elaine Arnold Gist; 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and several great nieces and nephews; dear dear friends Gladys Jeffries, Linda Hanson and Linda Bush; and the loves of her life Bear and Bella.
Debra spent much of her adulthood taking care of others. She was a devoted daughter and sister and she loved doing things for her family. Debra was well-known within the family and a close circle of friends for being an excellent cook. From pies and cakes to fried chicken, three generations of loved ones would beg for her kitchen creations, especially during holidays. She was also an excellent creator of anything “crafty.” From the simplest flower arrangement to the most intricate wedding bouquet, Debra could make anything elegant and beautiful.
Graveside services will be held Sat May 16 at 1pm at Rusk Co. Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Father Mark Kusmirek of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church officiating . Curtesy of Rader Funeral Home.
