Tammy Evans Hensley age 59, of New Edinburg, AR died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1961 in Warren, AR a daughter of the late Curtis “Buddy” Evans and Gale Culliford Evans. She was an RN with the Bradley County Medical Center where she served as director of their Home Health services. She attended Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church, she was a graduate of the Warren Public Schools and the University of Arkansas at Monticello, School of Nursing. Tammy’s passion was caring for the people she served and she exemplified what a Registered Nurse should be.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Hensley, whom she married May 30th, 1981 in New Edinburg, AR. Her son Kevin Hensley and spouse Katherine, Little Rock, AR. and her daughter Tara McDougald and spouse Jonathan, New Edinburg, AR. A brother Johnny Ray Evans and spouse Amy, Warren, AR. 4 grandchildren Addison McDougald, Evan McDougald, Emery Hensley and Everett Hensley and her grandchild that is soon to be born, which she was so excited and happy about.
Visitation will be from 6:00PM till 8:00PM Tuesday, December 1st at Frazer’s Chapel, PLEASE ENTER THRU THE FRONT DOOR WITH YOUR MASK, and Graveside services are PENDING at this time, and will be ANNOUNCED and held at Ebenezer Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Ashcraft officiating following her cremation services.
