Georgia Ozell Johnson “Sis” 83, entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her residence. Georgia was born in Louisa County, Virginia on July 9, 1937 to Jesse and Mary Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter: Carolyn Johnson, two brothers: Arthur Odell and John William Johnson; a sister-in-law, Florence Johnson and three uncles: Leroy, Sylvester, and Johnny Putty.
Georgia confessed her love for Christ and joined the Saint John Baptist Church in Mineral, Virginia at an early age. She was a member of the Senior Choir and rendered her helping hands whenever needed. She loved the Lord and had a great love for everyone.
She was educated in Louisa County Public Schools. She worked at Rockingham Sleepwear Corporation in Mineral and also as a domestic worker.
Georgia, affectionately known as Sis, was a lovable, quiet, and kind-hearted person. Her hobbies were sewing, listening to music and watching TV.
Georgia leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted son: Roy Johnson (Christel) of Mineral, Virginia; two nieces: Joyce Johnson-Allen of Mineral, Virginia and Minister Cora Johnson of Charlottesville, Virginia; two nephews: Minister John Johnson of Bumpass, Virginia and Edward “Pa” Jones of Richmond, Virginia; a loving and devoted sister-like cousin, Darlene Lewis of Mineral, Virginia and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Interment will follow in Spring Grove Memorial Park Cemetery. Mineral, Virginia.
