He was born in Wellsville March 14, 1915, a son of the late William Edward and Rose Springer Frontz.
He lived most of his life in East Liverpool before moving to Westerville in 1990. He was employed 50 years at Riverview Orchids Inc. He graduated from the Ohio State School for the Deaf.
He is survived by wife wife, Bernice "Millie" Frontz, at home; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Howell of East Liverpool; a brother, Howard "Pete" Frontz of Woodsfield, Ohio; and two stepgrandchilden.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; three brothers; and two stepsons, Wilber Burt and William Burt.
Skip Sheville will conduct the services at 2:30 at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before the services.
