HUSBAND FINDS WIFE DEAD, INFANT IN CRIB
Mrs. Arthur Frontz Suffers Heart Attack When Alone
While her 6-month-old baby, Arlene Joy lay unatteneded in her crib for more than eight hours. Mrs. Bonnie Marie Frontz, 20, lay dead Tuesday on her second floor apartment at 635 1/2 St. Clair Avenue.
Mrs. Frontz is beleived to have been stricken shortly after her husband, Arthur Frontz a machinist for Arvin Machine Company left for his work about 7:40 a.m. She was found by Mr. Frontz still dressed in her pajamas as he left her, when he returend home at 5:30 p.m.
Death was due to a heart attack, Coroner Arnold Devon ruled today.
Mr. Frontz told Coroner Devon, who investigated that he and his wife had eaten their breakfast together before he left. She had written out a grocery order which was found on the table. She returned to her bed, evidently when she became ill.
Dr. J.L. Ward veterinary, whose offices are on the first floor of the building, reported having heard the baby crying at intervals during the day but thought nothing of it. The baby was in a state of exhaustion from hunger when the mother's death was discovered. Coroner Devon expressed the opinion she has been dead for about eight hours.
Besides her husband and daughter, Mrs. Frontz leaves her mother, Mrs. Sadie Palmer; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Buchanan, Mrs. Helen Palmer and Mrs. Dorothy Campbell all of East Liverpool.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Dawson Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Clyde H. Canfield, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in Yellow Creek cemetery.
