Raymond G. Ford, 89, of Lebanon, IN passed on Friday, October 30, 2020.

He was born in Livia, KY on May 29, 1931 to Ernest and Mary (Ferguson) Ford.

Raymond served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict and later went to Bob Jones University where he met his future wife, Virginia Dockins, after graduation he became a Baptist minister. He and Virginia married on June 4, 1955 and were married for 64 years before her passing on July 4, 2019. He pastored churches in Indiana, Ohio Louisiana and Texas, he last pastored at Grace Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He spent his last few years in Advance, Indiana next to his daughter, Lynette and finally in a nursing home in Lebanon.

He is survived by his children, Jerry (Marienne) Ford, Gregg (Mary) Ford, Lori (Steve) Fitzgerald and Lynette (Kevin) McNees; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann (Bob) Newton and Mildred Cook.

In addition to his parents, his wife and best friend Virginia Dockins Ford, he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen and a brother, Charlie Ford.

Friends may call from 11am until the start of his funeral service at 1 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, IN. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
