Zack graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1960. He was a jockey for many years, and then became a farmer and rancher. Zack loved hunting, fishing, and horse and ranch magazines.
On September 11, 1968, he married Stana Marie Asmussen in Las Vegas, Nevada. They shared 52 years of marriage together.
Zack is survived by: wife, Stana Collins; son, Hondo Collins (Michelle); daughter, Kecia Collins (James Farra), granddaughter, Aleah Collins; grandson, Kolbi Collins; brother, Terry ‘Sig’ Collins (Thania), all of Partridge; and brother,Mark Collins (Mary), Greeley, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private funeral service will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary. Public burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary.
