She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Congetta Anello, her husband George Phillips, and her sisters Barbara Anello and Rosemarie George. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Janelle Anello.
Even though Vonnie did not have any biological children, she gave all her love to her nieces and nephews. All 44 of us.
Yvonne worked at Cook Paint as an executive secretary for over 30 years.
Vonnie loved to travel. One of her favorite places was Branson, Missouri. She especially enjoyed visiting during the holiday season. She also loved her trip to Hawaii.
The most important thing to Vonnie was her family. She loved all family gatherings, especially deck parties.
We would like to thank all the staff at Newmark Care Center for their kind and compassionate care of our Aunt Vonnie.
Vonnie’s wishes were to be cremated. Since she would never want to put anyone else in harms way, we have decided to delay her celebration of life service until this summer, when hopefully it will be safe for the family to gather.
