Andrea "Drea" Robledo Nelson, age 44, peacefully passed on Friday 26th, of June 2020 in Provo Utah, at Utah Valley Hospital with her dearest loved ones by her side and her favorite songs being played for her.

Andrea Robledo Nelson was born on September 21st 1975. Many of her dearest family and friends knew her as a lover and peacemaker. The most giving to her husband, children, and grandchildren. The most selfless mother and grandmother. She was truly an angel on earth. Was far from family members but always made sure to keep her heart close to those she missed the most.

She was the first born to Raul "Ruly" Robledo and Anita "Nita" Navarro. On her mother's side, she was the first born grandchild to Ramon & Gregoria "Golla" Navarro. She was born and raised in Blythe, California with her younger siblings; Sonia Barnhill and Gabriel Wilhite on her mother's side. On her father's side, she had six beloved siblings; Raul III Robledo, Victoria Robledo Salisberry, Deanna Robledo Linden, Chance Robledo and Regina Robledo.

Andrea graduated from Palo Verde High school in 1993, earning her diploma. She'd go on to be a dedicated mother, grandma and main breadwinner of her household for several years. On the days she did have off, she enjoyed treating her family to trips to Huntington Beach when the kids were younger. Moving locations, she found peace in Utah's canyons and showing her kids how to respect and appreciate the beauty of nature. You'd always find her singing to her most adored reggae artists in the kitchen, while cleaning and preparing meals. She loved music with a passion. Her ideal getaway was a show of her favorite band and her family there, feeling the soul of the music together. She found love in embracing one's differences no matter what walk of life they came from. She was a mother to those who weren't her own, and a giver to everyone she knew and cared for.

She bore and birthed four beautiful children, at 18 she welcomed her first born son, Tyler Ruben Armstrong in 1994. She would then reside in Victorville, California, with her soon to be husband, Trent Tyler Nelson. They welcomed their second baby boy Ethan Issac Nelson two years later in 1996. The family of four would spend 6 holiday seasons together before Andrea found out she was expecting a baby girl who she would name Miah Zoelle Nelson in 2002. Trent proposed to Andrea soon after in 2004. The family was raised in the high desert and spent their summer days relaxing in the backyard by the pool. In 2009, Tyler introduced Andrea & Trent to their first born grandchild, Sarah Ariana Armstrong. Only a year later Andrea gave birth to her fourth and final bundle of love, Jared Julien Nelson in 2011. The family relocated to a bigger, four bedroom house in Victorville. Much closer to Andrea's work and the kid's schools. There, they made a new life. Andrea enjoyed trying new recipes, and the family welcomed many friends who Andrea passionately considered family. In 2014, Andrea was gifted with another grandchild, Kingston Gilbert Armstrong. Needing a change, the family moved up to Manti, Utah. It was the steady life in the country and the beautiful canyons that Andrea loved most about the small town, being from a small town herself. She always found joy in her surroundings and made the best out of every day with the people she called her family. In 2019, Tyler gave Andrea her 3rd grandchild, Anthony Jacob Armstrong. No matter what the circumstances, Andrea put her children and grandchildren first, teaching them to love, and to be their true selves.

For being the light in such a dark world. For always thinking, as well as, putting those she loved before herself. For giving without the expectation of receiving, but receiving graciously.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21st from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at Frye Chapel in Blythe. Interment will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
