Seldon W. Harrington was born 02 Sep 1899 in Harewood, New Brunswick, Canada to Elkanah and Elizabeth (Compton) Harrington. He graduated from Saint John High School in Saint John, New Brunswick. Seldon lived in Millinocket, Maine for about 20 years where he worked as a fireman for the Great Northern Paper Company, retiring two months before his death. Seldon died at his home on York Street in Millinocket after a long illness. He was survived by his wife Clarissa (Burleigh) Harrington of Millinocket; daughter Bernice Joan of Welsford, New Brunswick; brother Everett Harrington and sister Pearl Ryder, both of Saint John; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Seldon's funeral was held at the home of Bexton Seamans, 55 Iron Bridge Road, in Millinocket, officiated by Reverend Leonard Newbert.
