Minnie C. Alexander, 93, widow of Luther Alexander, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, in Pattie A Clay Regional Medical Center.
Minnie was a member of the Pilot Knob Baptist Church and was a retired cook for Boone Tavern.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Azzie and Para Lee Taylor Cates; and her husband, Luther Alexander. Several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death: Boyd, Roy, Ray, Mendal, and Lee Cates and Martha Taylor.
Minnie is survived by: her two sons, Ronald Alexander and Mason Alexander, both of Berea; and one brother, Floyd (Marie) Cates of Berea. Minnie is also survived by: several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.
