Mrs. George A. Anderson, 72, of 1440 Fourth street SW, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday in a Cedar Rapids hospital after a brief illness. She was born on a farm near Marion Oct. 15, 1874.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Maxine, at home; two brothers, Fred Atz of Alburnett and Will Atz of Marion, and a half-sister, Miss Clara L. Reichert of Cedar Rapids.
She was a member of Second Evangelical church.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Yocom chapel, Marion by the Rev. Paul Stevens. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the chapel.
