Richard E. "Flip" Herrick, 83, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020, at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin, OH.

He was born November 20, 1937, in Mingo Junction, OH, a son of the late Michael W. and Agnes (Stuber) Herrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vincenzia "Wengie" (DiLoretto) Herrick, on March 15, 2012.

Flip retired in 1997 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he was a foreman. Then he was an operator in the Wastewater Department in Mingo until 2000. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church; the American Legion Post 33 in Steubenville; The Mingo Knights of Columbus Council 4361, where he was a 3rd and 4th degree Knight; and the Knights of St. Anthonys where he was a trustee.

Surviving are a son, Michael D. Herrick, of Hilliard, OH; and a brother, Michael "Satch" Herrick and his wife Alberta of Mingo Junction, OH.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private family services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville at a later date.
