Donald Lee Shelton, 78, of Russellville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at St. Mary’s Health Center. He was born on October 4, 1942 in New Haven, Missouri, a son of the late John and Hazel (Quick) Shelton.

Don graduated from New Haven High School. He worked for many companies including J.T. Cullen, Dollar General, McDonnell-Douglas and Missouri Builders Association. Don owned and operated his own farm most of his life as well as Shelton and Sons Construction. He loved to hunt and fish and take the grandkids to the sale barn auctions. Most of all, he cherished the times spent with his family.

Don is survived by his fiancée: Vicki Smith; daughters: Glenda Sparks and Donna Quenga; daughter-in-law: Christina Shelton; step-children: Trisha Watts (Steve) and Bob Francis (Martha); sister: Margie Warden; grandchildren: DeWayne Shelton (Lisa), Randy Shelton (Kristina), Chrissie Hildebrand, Donnie Watts (London), Jessie Watts, Bobby Francis III, Heather Green (Allen) and Nikki Savage (Cole) and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Donald Robin “Rob” Shelton; brother: John Robert “Bobby” Shelton and sister: Patsy Pruessner.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Weber-Millard Funeral Home with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Whittle officiating. Interment will be held at Enloe Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Russellville FFA/4-H.
