Brenda D. Moran,60, of Troy, formerly of Moscow Mills, passed away on November 27, 2020. She was born on May 15, 1960 in Troy to Melvin A. and Mary F. (McDonald) Taylor. Brenda attended the local schools along with her siblings, Melvin, Linda, Sandy and Roger. She graduated from Elsberry High School. Brenda was united in marriage with Steve Moran on May 22, 1982. They were blessed with three sons: Alan, Jerome and Chris. Brenda and Steve raised their family in the Moscow Mills area and attended Moscow Mills United Methodist Church. She was an excellent worker for Verizon for over 33 years , as a telephone operator. Brenda loved fishing, hunting and camping. She had a green thumb and grew a bountiful garden, Brenda was able to can vegetable and jellies , that everyone enjoyed. Brenda was happiest when she was spending time with her family , she was a good cook and always made the family meals.

She is survived by her three sons: Alan and wife Kathryn Moran of Winfield, Jerome Moran of Moscow Mills, Chris and wife Bre Moran of Colorado, siblings, Melvin "Lynn" and wife Pam Taylor of Maryland Heights, Linda (David) Burns of Troy, Roger (Cheryl) Taylor of Annada, boyfriend and loving companion , Lonnie "Bub" Daniels and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Moran, her sister, Sandy Powell and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5 p.m-8 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379
