Bonnie Lou Tucker, age 76, of Trotman Road, Shawboro, NC, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019 at her residence. Born in Elmyra, NY, on July 9, 1942 to the late Kenneth and Ethel Hoy Borden, she was the widow of Nathan (Buddy) Tucker to whom she was married to for 48 years. She was a homemaker who loved her family and all animals, especially dogs, and was a marvelous storyteller.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeni T. Drake of Crownsville, MD; a son, Milton W. Tucker of Shawboro, NC; sister, Lorraine Green of Elmyra, NY; brother, Kenneth W. Borden of AZ; two granddaughters, Brandi N. Hooper and Jessica Hooper; and two great grandchildren, Hailey and Zoey. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Borden, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Tucker.
