Fannie Neal, age 100 years, 10 months, and 15 days, of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Scott County Hospital.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Trammell and Bro. Gary Shepherd officiating. Burial followed in the Mill Creek Cemetery.

She was born November 1, 1906 in Whitley County, Kentucky to Doug Morton and Francis Hickman Morton. Fannie was a homemaker and had been a member of the Stearns Seventh Day Adventist Church since the 1940's where she taught children's Sabbath School. She enjoyed sewing, painting and spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Anthony Neal, whom she married on October 22, 1924, two sons, Melvin and Marvin Neal, one brother, three sisters, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Survivors include two sons, Ray Neal and his wife, Sue, of Somerset, Kentucky, and Lester Neal and his wife, Kathleen, of Downey, California, fifteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, and seventeen great great grandchildren.
