Gladys Stine, 73, died Friday, January 5, 1996 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born February 20, 1922 in Garrard County she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Pryor Buckley. She was a housewife and a member of the Burgin Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Ralph Stine; two sons, Donnie Montgomery, Burgin and Rodney Stine, Mercer County; one brother, Roy Buckley, Harrodsburg; four sisters, Glenna Sanders, Burgin, Evelyn Major, Harrodsburg and Frances Buckley and Josephine McKinney, both of Lexington; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One son, Gerald Stine, preceded her in death. Funeral services were Sunday January 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Smith officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
