Geneva Edna Crawford, 88, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Geneva was born on January 18, 1932 in Louisville, KY to the late Therman and Exie Chinn. As a young girl, she would look after and take care of her younger brother, Richard. On November 24, 1950 she married the love of her life, the late Roy Crawford. Roy and Geneva were very strong and committed to their faith and church no matter where they lived.

Geneva worked as a secretary for a trucking company until it shut down; after it closed, she was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom to her son Duane Crawford. She volunteered to read to young children at school in her spare time. She loved flowers, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Crawford; son, Duane Crawford; parents, Therman and Exie Chinn; sisters, Lois, and Wanda; and brother, Duel Chinn.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Louisette Crawford; grandson, Cory Crawford; granddaughter, Jill Reading; great-granddaughter, Clara; great-grandson, Bryson; brothers, Harold (JoAnn) Chinn, and Richard (Shirley) Chinn; sister, Nina Amenta; and several nieces and nephews.
