Mr. Roger Eugene Howard, age 61 of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Floyd Medical Center.
He was born April 1, 1959 in Birmingham, AL. He was a truck driver for Morgan Building and a member of Morning View Baptist Church in Rockmart. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting money, fishing, and spending time outdoors. His grandkids were his world and everyone who knew him loved him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Andria Renea Parris Howard; his mother, Elizabeth Bell; and a son, Kevin Howard.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Vince Williams; two sons, Jeff Howard and fiancée, Chaye Sisson, and Michael Howard and fiancée, Misty Parris; several brothers and sisters; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating.
