Rosa Lee Gwinn-Clark was born in Chunchula, AL on December 20, 1925 to Ed and Carrie Gwinn. She departed this life in Cedar Park, TX on November 10, 2020 at 8:20 pm.

Rosa was preceded in death by both parents, Ed and Carrie Gwinn, her husband, Frank Clark Jr, a son, Steven W. Clark, four sisters: Willie Mae Evans, Edna Boggess, Mary Green, Katie Bell Ingalise, and two brothers: Ed Gwinn, Jr., and Leonard Gwinn.

As a child Rosa attended Starlight Baptist Church in Chunchula, AL where she accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. Rosa loved the Lord and served Him faithfully until the end. Rosa exemplified her love, kindness, and generosity, not only to her family but to so many. Everyone she met was drawn by her loving spirit.

On August 5, 1946, Rosa married the love of her life, Frank Clark, Jr. To this union was born five boys and two girls. In 1968 Rosa moved to Sacramento, CA with her husband and children. She was an active member with the Church of God Pentecostal of Sacramento, CA for many years and served in many positions, including The Mother's Board. Rosa loved cooking and preparing food for church functions and family gatherings. After retirement she and her husband became Foster Parents for the county of Sacramento. With her leadership, they raised many foster children and received awards from the county for their compassionate care giving. After the death of her husband, Rosa joined the Faith Fellowship Community Church of North Highlands, CA.

In 2007 Rosa moved to Texas with her children, and in 2015 she joined Sweet Home the Pinnacle of Praise church of Round Rock, Texas where she was active in the Flower and Plant ministry.

Left to cherish Rosa's precious memories are four sons: Bobby (Skipper) Clark of Taylor, TX, Joseph (Bernice) Clark Sr. of Dothan, AL, Thomas (Vicki) Clark of Las Vegas, NV, and Mark (Freda) Clark of Antelope, CA; two daughters: Bettie (Charles) Gill of Georgetown, TX, and Gloria Smith of Pflugerville, TX; one sister, Bernice Jackson of Antelope, CA; one sister-in-law, Mary Gwinn of Chunchula, AL, a devoted friend, Florida Cooper of Austin, TX; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
