His death cert can be found on Ancestry but you have to put Benefield for the last name. Also that it says he was born July 23, 1864 but calculation of age at time of death is birth July 25, 1864. So there is a bit of discrepancy in the birth date but I do believe it was July 23, 1864 and not 1863.
