Services for Leslie Clarence Kimball, 93, Littleton, Colo., will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke's AME Church with the Rev. Cornelius Austin officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Kimball died Saturday in Denver. He lived most of his life in Lawrence and had lived briefly in Maryland and Colorado.

He was born Sept. 5, 1897, in Weaver.

He had been an auto mechanic for Parker Buick Co. in Lawrence for more than 30 years when he retired. He also lived and farmed for many years at Kimball Hill and was an avid gardener.

He was a member of St. Luke's AME Church.

He married Minnie Lee Clayborn on Sept. 2, 1923. She died Nov. 3, 1981.

Survivors include nine daughters, Geraldine Gunn of Albuquerque, N.M., Eleanor Kimbrough of Littleton, Phyllis Henderson, Loweta Kimball and Martha Tucker, all of Denver, Doris Brice of Kansas City, Mo., Margaret Smith of Alamogardo, N.M., Karen Reece of Ontario, Canada, and Helen McMillian of Silver Springs, Md.; six sons, Wesley of Chicago, Benard of Atlanta, William Robert, Maurice and Leon, all of Lawrence, and Larry of Fort Washington, Md.; 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
