She had lived in Dawsonville since 2005, after moving from Loganville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Oma Allen; husband, Boyd Garrett; son, Bruce Garrett; and brother, Bill Allen. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy J Hudson of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Starr (Mark) Sullens of Cleveland, and Brian Hudson of Dawsonville; great-grandchildren, Mirissa, Mallory, Morgan, Ethan, and Zoey; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Stormy, Lee, Cerenity, Nova, Avery, and Jovie Anna.
