SANDUSKY — Ronald Stevens, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at 3:52 p.m. at Firelands Hospital in Sandusky.

He was born Jan. 29, 1935, to Edwin and Agnes Knight Stevens.

Ron attended St. Rose and Girard High School. Ron served in the Army in Korea, Germany, Vietnam, Hawaii and Alaska.

Ron was an avid golfer and played in many leagues around the area. He worked at the old Candywood Golf Course as a starter.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy, and a son, Mark; and four grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Patricia Geho; and brothers, Ted, Ken and John (Inge) Stevens; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rosemary Geho and Joan Funaro; and a brother, James Stevens.

Burial will be at the Veterans Home Cemetery in Sandusky on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.

There will be no services due to the pandemic.
