Born in Legal, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Charles and Ella (Williams) Christian. She attended schools in Legal and Bohannon and also attended Stuart High School. She married O.V. McNutt on June 6, 1938, in Ashland and was a lifelong resident of Stuart. She worked for Seamprufe and for the North American Rockwell in McAlester. She passed away at a Coalgate nursing center at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ella Christian, and a brother, Earl Christian.
