West Hollywood Police confirmed that a man jumped from the balcony of a vacant unit on the 27th floor in Hollywood's Sierra Towers building, a luxury celebrity-studded high rise.
Paul Robbins had gained access to the apartment by posing as a prospective buyer. When the realtor's back was turned, he went to the balcony and jumped off.
Police reported there was no foul play involved. Mr Robbins died upon impact with the ground below. News sources report that Mr. Robbins had recently reported to his family that he was diagnosed with a terminal illness.
