Myrna Ethel Smith, age 73 of Soperton passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Treutlen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Soperton, Georgia.
Born in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Artie Lee Carter Maples. She had worked in the healthcare industry for many years at the University of Tennessee. For the past 30 years she has made Soperton her home.
She leaves behind her husband, Leonard Smith; two sons, Joe Blair (Tammy), Floyd Blair (Nancy), all of Soperton; siblings, J.T. Maples (Ann), Edna Toliver (Loyd) of TN; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a late date. Sammons Funeral Home.
