Mary Louise Pugh, 87, a resident of Lake Charles, passed from this life on November 25, 2020, in a Many, LA care facility.

Mrs. Pugh was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted friend. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a woman of unwavering faith and knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. For most of her life, Mary was a housewife and assisted her husband on his commercial fishing vessel when not caring for her family.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Samuel Louis and Annie Mary Waldron Day, husband; C.D. Pugh, children, Janice DuPont and Edward Pugh, and five siblings.

Mrs. Pugh is survived by her four children Michael Pugh(Kay), Paula McConnel, Charles Pugh(Deanna), and Donald Pugh(Wardella), fifteen grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two great-grandchildren on the way, and her sister; Joyce Cobern.

The family will receive friends on November 28, 2020, in the chapel of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home in Iowa, LA, from 9:00 AM until 11:00. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home. Bro. Lloyd Carrol is to officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
