Funeral service for Larry Sims, 66, of Oak Grove, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 27, 2020 at Goodwill Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Johnny Smith and Bro. Lucas House officiating. Interment will follow to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home.
Mr. Sims was born on April 7, 1954 in Delhi, LA and passed away on November 25, 2020 in Oak Grove, LA.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Gloria Sims of Oak Grove, LA; son, Shea Sims and wife, Brenda of Pioneer, LA; grandchildren, Austin Sims of Pioneer, LA, Alexis Sims of Pioneer, LA, and Blake Sims of Pioneer, LA; sisters, Dorothy Morgan and husband, Terry of Grenada, MS, and Debbie Calhoun and husband, Richard of Oak Grove, LA; brothers, George Sims of New Orleans, LA, Donald Sims and wife Barbara of Carriere, MS, and Doug Sims and wife, Arnetta of Oak Grove, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Austin Sims, Blake Sims, Ricky Compton, Jerry Calhoun, Richard Calhoun, and Jerry Mullins.
Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the church.
