Jerry Eugene Butler, 77, of Smithfield, VA, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. He was the son of the late Frank M. Butler and Helen Stewart Butler. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Butler, Jerry Ann Chitwood and Ashley Butler; son, Trent Butler; grandchildren, Dalton, Haleigh, Landon, JazzLyn, Bobbi and Evie; sisters, Shirley Middleton and Becky Gordon; brothers, David and Tommy Butler.
Jerry proudly served in the U S Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Newport News Shipbuilding; he was an avid hunter.
A private memorial service will be held at Albert G Horton Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Little's Funeral Home.
