Charlie Ray Thomas, known as Ray or Charlio passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 18th 2020 at his home surrounding by his lady friend and loved ones. He was born on September 3, 1957 in St Louis; a son of the late Eddie and Jo Ann (Walton) Thomas
Ray attended Roosevelt High School; a 1975 graduate. For many years Ray found his love working in construction. In 2015 he became a grounds keeper at Lincoln University and enjoyed his work there. If you ask Ray if he wanted to go fishing, his reply would always, always be HUH, I WANT TO. Charlio loved to fish and loved frying it more. He also enjoyed dancing, fish fry's and family gatherings. Ray had a love for children over the years he became a father figure and grandfather to many.
Ray is survived by his children Charles Thomas (Lawanda Thomas) and Carmelita Watson Jeremy Watson) siblings Marvin J. Thomas (Kimberley Thomas), Tracey A Thomas (Curtis Mondaine) Felicia Ann Thomas and Tramyra T. Nathan (Joel Nathan) Grandchildren Amari, Desmond, Zion, Zauryn, Ian and Israel. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends Ray is preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Thomas.
The Family would like to thank Niecy for staying in our brother's corner in such a difficult time. Bro loved you...

Family and Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m Saturday, November 28th 2020 at Houser- Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery in St. Louis on Monday, November 30th, 2020 at 12 p.m.
