Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, her parents, and one son, Gerald Andrew. She is survived by her 3 sons; Randy (Rachel), Donny (Diane), and Scott (Melissa), four granddaughters; Corbin, Emma (Ethan), Gracie, and Maddie, along with four step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and one sister Ruth Anne Toepfer.
After meeting in high school, Carol and Gerald married and moved to Springfield in 1963 as co-founders of Ozark Fire Extinguisher. In 1969, the couple co-founded Fire Master Fire Apparatus. Carol felt incredibly blessed to have worked side-by-side with her husband and sons every day for over 50 years.
