He is survived by his wife, Helen Duke Hatch of Jackson; 1 step son, Anthony Smith (Jane) of Lexington; 1 step daughter, Teresa Lindsey (Paul) of Jackson; 2 brothers, Ronnie Hatch (Carol) of Jackson and Roger Hatch (Sandy) of Jackson; 1 sister, Shirley Viar (Buddy) of Dyersburg; 4 grandchildren, Mitchell Hatch, Collin Hatch, Josh Lindsey (Emily), and Ashleigh Hamaguchi (Mills); and 4 great grandchildren, Kobe Lee Lindsey, Luke Atlas Lindsey, Reef Toru Hamaguchi, and Skylar Hatch.
He was preceded in death by 1 son, Brian Hatch; and parents, Rev. L.B. and Violet Hatch. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 27 at 2PM at Reed’s Chapel in Lexington with burial to follow in Beech River Cemetery with military honors.
