James Lewis "Jimmy" Frost was an outside right who played for Chelsea from 1906 until 1907, with most of his appearances coming in the 1906-07 season. Born in Wolverton, Buckinghamshire, he played for local side Northampton Town before joining Chelsea in late 1906. he made 20 league appearances for the Blues and scored 4 goals in his debut season, helping Chelsea gain promotion to the top flight for the first time in just their second season in existence.
He was selected for Chelsea's first three matches in 1907-08, but by the beginning of 1908 he had moved across London to West Ham United, where he would make several appearances in just over a year at the club. He later played for Croydon Common and Clapton Orient.
